The electronic report card module offers school districts a standards-based electronic reporting system that is easily customizable for each grade level, reduces the burden of record keeping for elementary teachers and provides a single location for retrieval of all critical information needed to evaluate student learning and the level of instructional success at the classroom, building and district levels. The electronic report card module can import student data from most student information packages, eliminating duplicate data entry and enhancing built-in reporting capabilities.

This module provides local school districts with the ability to design and customize standards based report cards according to each grade level's unique requirements. Design features include control of the number of reporting periods, grading keys, narrative and / or standardized comments, and monitoring of attendance, special services and other critical data needed to properly evaluate instructional success. Specific standards based student outcomes and skills can be defined for each curriculum area at every grade level with appropriate indicators to measure student progress. All of this vital information can be easily disaggregated and analyzed through the program's reporting system.

Other powerful configuration features include unrestricted, multiple-grade levels and unlimited data points. Data entry, administrative approval, and printing are all electronic and automated, which will result in significant cost savings and increased efficiency.

  • Set the marking periods and the report cards in use by a school.
  • Select and assign report cards to specific grade levels, classes, or students.
  • Well-known file formats and data exports from many student information systems can be imported automatically. A simplified mapping process allows for the import of any other file a school might utilize. This allows base data, such as the student name, teacher name, grade, class, and attendance to be pre-populated into the report card system.
  • View reports to assess the success of instruction at a classroom or student level.
Teacher:
  • Securely Log in from school or home.
  • Automatically be presented a list of their students.
  • If they have multiple classes, they can select the class they want to work with.
  • Utilize a wizard interface to enter student progress marks in each curriculum area and other required data by student or subject.
  • Select from predefined comments or enter free-form comments where applicable.
  • Once report cards are completed for classes, submit the class as a report card to an approver for approval.
Approver:
  • Securely log in from school or home.
  • A simple list view helps keep track of unsubmitted, submitted and approved report cards.
  • Review each student report card and print the report card for review and / or markup if necessary.
  • Approve or reject report cards.
  • Print the approved report cards for distribution.
  • Report cards can be printed on either 8.5 x 11 or 11x17 paper.
  • View reports to assess the success of instruction at a classroom or student level.
  • Report cards are generated in PDF file format.
