This inside sales position would involve focused prospecting, product demonstrations, and consultative selling to K-12 school districts with a future potential of leading and managing a sales team to reach company annual business objectives nationally and globally.

Software Trainer

Graphic Designer

SchoolStream is looking for a Graphic Designer in our Rochester Hills, MI location.

The SchoolStream suite of customizable, web-based applications provides school districts an integrated platform to automate everyday processes, while helping them to:

  • Reduce materials
  • Improve communication among schools, families, and communities
Responsibilities include:
  1. Design
    • Ability to use current industry software to produce graphic art, promotional materials, instructional materials, and displays for promotion purposes
  2. Implementation
    • Manage projects from conceptual stages all the way through completion
    • Continually communicate with management and directly with clients to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the clients standards
  3. Account maintenance
    • Understanding of individual client needs and flexibility to incorporate feedback in designs as it arises
  • 2-5 years graphic design experience
  • Experience using programs such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Quark or In Design, Flash, Adobe Premier, ASP, NET, HTML, CSS, Action Scripting, XML, DHTML and Web2.0.
  • Desire to grow in a small company environment
  • AA or BA in Graphics Design (or a related field)

    • Maintain a catalog of possible candidates while continuing to search for candidates to fill positions in a growing company
    • Coordinate and conduct initial interviews of prospective candidates
  2. Professional development training for internal staff (30%)
    • Provide individualized training and support for staff in various departments
    • Create and enhance training materials, resources, and assessment measures
  3. Assist Customer support (10%)
    • Provide quick, high-quality technical assistance for users who seek support
  4. Office management (10%)
    • Provide general support in whatever tasks may arise
